Scott V. Kidd

A native of Austin, Scott’s practice consists of a broad array of litigation matters, including contract disputes, professional liability claims, employment matters, general commercial disputes, lender liability claims, and personal injury claims, among others.

Scott left his hometown for his undergraduate education, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Davidson College in North Carolina in 2005. He then returned to Austin for his legal education, earning his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 2008, where he was a Presidential Scholar and a member of the Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law. While in law school, Scott clerked at a firm that concentrates on construction law and litigation and at another firm that concentrates on catastrophic personal injury. Upon graduation, Scott remained in Austin to practice law.
